2016年8月27日～28日、AL州プラットビル、モデルフライクラブ・プラットビルの飛行場で2016年ビル・ジョンストン・メモリアルSPA選手権が開催された。
招待されたのはSPAの全メンバー。18人のパイロットがSPAの招待に従った。
