We recently received some unexpected photos of a beautiful model aircraft. We definitely don’t want to keep these photos from you. Here is a Maximum 7, built by Norwegian Clamer Meltzer in 1968. The photos were taken in June 2025. The Maximum is ready to fly.
The Maximum 7 was designed by Poju Stephansen, a former Norwegian RC1 World Championship competitor in 1967.
Clamer was a student pilot of Poju, which is why he built this aircraft based on Poju’s documentation.
The aircraft is covered with yellow silk and protected with clear lacquer.
It is still in the same condition as when it was built in 1987. Everything is still original.
Clamer Meltzer flew this aircraft very little because he did not like the way it flew.
Specifications:
Wingspan: 1.38 metres
Length: 1.22 metres
Flying weight: 2.6 kg
Power: Veco .61.
Clamer used a Kraft RC system at the time.
