It’s finally finished, the Yoshioka ‘Sensation’ by Jens Machinek. He actually wanted to surprise us with this airplane at our RC1 meeting in Böblingen. However, the ‘Sensation’ was not quite finished yet. Today I received the first photos from Jens which I don’t want to withhold from you.
The Sensation is one of Hanno Prettner’s very last constructions. The airplane was built as a shell model by Yoshioka.
Hanno Prettner stopped flying competitively after the F3A World Championship in 1993. It was too late for the ‘sensation’. Unfortunately, Hanno no longer used the plane in F3A competitions.
Yoshioka built 2 versions of this design, a small Sensation which was distributed by Kyosho and a larger version which was sold directly as a small series by Yoshioka himself.
Jen’s airplane is powered by a Yamada 110 four-stroke engine.
