Tobias Schulz developed his new F3A biplane Shamrock with his father Dr Eckhard Schulz for the 1989 F3A World Championship in Chesapeak, USA. He hoped that using a biplane at the world championship would give him certain flying advantages, but this was not the case. Unlike the T.O.C. competition in Las Vegas, there was no biplane bonus at this world championship.
Here is the original Shamrock of the German F3A pilot Tobias Schulz. Tobias flew this aeroplane in many national and international aerobatic competitions. The highlight was his successful participation in the 1989 German F3A Aerobatic World Championships in Chesapeak, USA. Wingspan 1.65 metres. Engine OS Max Surpass 20cc
After the World Championships, the aeroplane was available as a kit from Simprop.
The original Shamrock is now an exhibit of the RC antique museum of the Swiss Urs Leodolter in Russikon / Switzerland and can be admired there.
Enjoy the photos of this beautiful aeroplane.
