The 1st RC-1 Kurt Bauerheim memorial meeting of the club MFV Böblingen is over. More than 20 aerobatic enthusiasts with 31 model airplanes came together during beautiful weather. One model aircraft was more beautiful than the next.
The two Swiss pilots Urs Leodolter with Salamandre and Guido Patrocini’s beautiful Aurora deserve a special mention.
Another very special event for me was the arrival of Rainer Seubert with his excellent old competition machines Atlantis and Revolution. We had definitely not met in person for 40 years. What a pleasure! Christian Wolf came with Franz Mayr’s original World Championship machine Pico 5.

Martin Schempp flew Noldi Peyer’s original Vertigo WM83 machine. Even a pilot from Brazil was there. He was only in Munich for 4 days for a business meeting. He did not miss the opportunity to visit us. I made one of my Marabus available for him to fly.
I know that pictures speak louder than words, so here is the photo documentation of this first Böblingen meeting.
