Germany, Bremen-Lemwerder, FAI F3A World Championship. At the time, the Swede Bo Bergstedt was the reigning Nordic and Swedish champion and therefore took part in the world championship in Lemwerder.
His model aircraft was his own design ‘Bolly’. The model was lost for decades and was discovered by our Swedish friend Mikael Berg as a barn find. Mikael painstakingly restored this 55-year-old aeroplane. The original ‘Bolly’ is as good as new today. Wingspan 1.48 metres, flying weight 2930 grams, fitted with an Enya 60, Bo Bergstedt used a ‘Digiplex Radio’ as remote control. Thanks to Mikael Berg for the great photos.
